GET THE WARRANTY!!!! Update: The car is fixed and seems to be running nice. The repairs were around $1,000 but I had the warranty so it costs me around $125. The warranty was easy to work with. If this is the only thing that comes up with the car then our experience with MotorMax was ok. We do love the car if it runs well. We spoke to the owner and he seems to care and is super nice. He mentioned that he will speak to his mechanics, they need to change how they inspect their cars because if I would have taken the car to my mechanic for an inspection that costs $130, my mechanic would have noticed the axel. So why didn't Motor Max? I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. Within just one month of purchasing my vehicle, I took it into my mechanic and was told the axel was leaking, whoever replaced it didn't do it correctly. The car fax didn't list this repair. This directly affects my son's safety. We also needed a new battery which costs around $300. I was told the car had been “safety-checked” before being sold, which makes this situation even more concerning. An issue like this does not typically appear overnight and should have been identified during any reasonable inspection. It’s hard to believe the dealership was unaware. When I reached out, I was simply reminded that the car was sold “as-is” and directed to a third-party warranty company, with little effort made to take responsibility or even review how such a significant issue may have been missed. I understand buying a used car comes with some risk, but there’s a difference between expected wear and a major failure so soon after purchase. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering buying from here get a completely independent inspection, get the warranty and proceed with caution.

Vehicle had near bald front tires, and one of the wires for the rear windows defrost was broken off and dangling. They were basically selling it as-is. Wouldn't consider knocking down the price so I could replace the tires and fix the defrost. Cosmetic issues are to be expected, but unsafe tires on the lot, not cool.
