My husband purchased a 2022 F-150 from Auto Palace about a month ago. After reading some of the reviews, I was initially hesitant, but they offered a 30-day warranty on the vehicle, which gave us peace of mind. We intentionally waited a full month before leaving a review to make sure everything checked out, and so far, everything has been great. We even had our mechanic look it over, and he confirmed the truck is in excellent condition. We were specifically searching for a King Ranch with low miles, which was difficult to find. Most trucks we came across had over 50,000 miles, but this one only had 15,000 miles, priced similarly to trucks with much higher mileage. Anthony answered all of our questions quickly and honestly throughout the process, and Paul was great to work with as well. We truly appreciated their willingness to negotiate and help us get into our price range. We’re grateful they were able to find a low-mileage truck from Texas that fit exactly what we were looking for. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. As with any used vehicle purchase, I always recommend doing your own due diligence; that applies to any dealership. Don’t let negative reviews stop you from at least meeting with Anthony and Paul and forming your own experience.

I’m posting this review here because my comments about this experience were removed three times from their Facebook page and I was eventually blocked. Before they ran my credit, I asked if they accepted outside financing because my bank was willing to finance the vehicle. They told me they do not accept external financing and that I would have to go through their lenders. At the time, my credit score on Credit Karma was around 740, which is generally considered good. I asked what APR they estimated based on that score, and they told me it would likely be around 7–9% APR (not guaranteed, but roughly in that range). After they ran my credit multiple times, they came back and told me the score they pulled was around 697–703 (I don’t remember the exact number). Based on that, they offered 12% APR for a Honda Civic, which was very different from the estimate they initially mentioned. Because of that experience, I decided not to move forward with the purchase. I’m sharing this so other buyers can be aware. Update: Thank you for responding. I did visit your dealership and spoke with one of your sales representatives in person. When I asked if I could use outside financing from my bank (Wright-Patt Credit Union), I was told that I would need to go through your lenders. Before authorizing the credit check, I also asked what APR range might be expected based on my credit. I was told it would likely be around 7–9% APR, although not guaranteed. After the credit check was run, the offer presented to me was 12% APR, which was significantly higher than the estimate that had been discussed. I understand that lenders determine the final rate and that Credit Karma scores can differ from lender scores. However, the reason I decided not to move forward was the difference between the estimated range discussed beforehand and the offer that was presented afterward. For reference, the salesperson who assisted me mentioned he was from Ukraine when we spoke about his accent, so that might help identify the interaction. I’m simply sharing the experience as it happened from my perspective.

I will not be giving AP my hard-earned money, and based on this experience, I would not recommend that anyone else do so either. The level of professionalism and customer respect I encountered does not reflect the standards I expect when making a significant purchase I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent interaction I had with your staff, specifically Antonio and Kaleb. After inquiring about a vehicle for some time and experiencing delays in receiving clear information, I finally spoke with Antonio. During that conversation, he disclosed that the vehicle had previously been involved in an accident and currently has an airbag sensor issue. Given the nature of these concerns, I asked if there was any flexibility in the pricing and stated I was prepared to purchase the vehicle the same day. Antonio’s response—stating, “I don’t care if you buy it today”—was both unprofessional and dismissive. While I understand that pricing decisions may be firm, the manner in which this was communicated fell well below the standard of professionalism expected from a reputable dealership. Additionally, I was given the impression that there was no one above him or that he had final authority on the matter. This raised further concern, as it does not align with typical dealership structures and came across as dismissive rather than transparent. Equally concerning are the issues with the vehicle itself. A prior accident combined with an airbag sensor problem is not a minor matter, as it directly impacts safety and long-term reliability. When paired with the level of customer service I experienced, it raises serious concerns about both the vehicle and the overall business practices. When management communicates in this manner, it sets a tone that is reflected throughout the organization. As a customer who was ready to make a purchase, I expected a more respectful and professional experience.
