To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal and serious complaint regarding my experience with Frank Kent of Arlington following the purchase of a Cadillac CT5 on January 2, 2025. What should have been a straightforward and professional transaction has turned into an ongoing and extremely frustrating ordeal. On January 2, 2025, my husband and I purchased a Cadillac CT5 in good faith. We made our down payment, signed all required documents, and left the dealership believing everything had been properly finalized. However, within less than a month, the vehicle began experiencing issues, including the engine light and several other warning lights coming on. This was very concerning given how recently the vehicle had been purchased. At the time of purchase, we also paid for an extended warranty to protect us from unexpected repair costs. Despite this, we were initially told that we would still be responsible for paying for the repairs. Only after pushing back was the warranty honored—something that should have been handled correctly from the beginning. The situation became even more concerning when, nearly a month later, I was informed by John, the Finance Manager, that my husband’s credit score had dropped and that he would be removed from the loan, leaving the financing solely in my name. I was told that updates would be made and that I would hear back soon. Although I was confused, I cooperated fully. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication. After a week passed, I attempted to call but received no response or return call. Two weeks went by with complete silence. When I went back to the dealership in person in March ready to make my first payment, I was once again told by John that he would “work something out” and that I would hear back by the end of the week. Again, I received no communication. To make matters worse, I was later told that the reason I had not been contacted was because they did not have my correct contact information. This explanation is unacceptable, as my contact information was entered correctly in the system and clearly listed on the signed contract. There was no valid reason for the lack of communication. I continued to call and text in an effort to remain compliant and proactive. Eventually, instead of receiving a professional phone call, I received a text message stating that if I did not have a co-signer, I would need to return the vehicle. This came after having the car in my possession for approximately four months under a signed contract that originally included both my husband and myself. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism shown throughout this entire process particularly by John, the Finance Manager. I made every effort to follow instructions, stay in contact, and meet my obligations, yet I have been met with confusion, inconsistency, and disregard. This has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had. I do not typically write complaints, but I feel strongly that this situation must be addressed, not only for my own resolution, but to help prevent others from experiencing similar treatment. I am requesting a thorough review and audit of this dealership’s sales and financing practices, as well as immediate clarification and resolution regarding my contract and current standing. This dealership is horrible! I never leave reviews but the salesman Richard and finance manager Eddie really made this place look bad! I had an appointment to see a vehicle, driving almost 6 hours from another state and they sold the vehicle. They do not care about their potential customers at all. If I could give zero stars I most definitely would. Spend your money else where !

Great place, great people. I dealt with Greg and Danny via email mostly and a bit via phone, they answered all my questions. Ask for Danny if you want a smooth deal, he is very knowledgeable, down to earth and at no point did I felt pressured or rushed. Flew from South Carolina to buy a X7. Danny and other people there took care of me from the moment I arrived despite having a busy day ( it was a Saturday). He was very patient as I took a long time checking most of the car. Car was 5 years/ 70k+ miles. They did a great job reconditioning it. Only things I could find after an in depth personal inspection were: -a factory defect from body shop (front left door did not close flush at the B-pillar, due tu weld nut installed too laterally). - tiny things that were less than 1/8 of an inch. - left front CV axle seemed to be sipping oil (will need to be eventually replaced). Besides this, this car could pass for new, and most people, who are not detail oriented/don't know the model might think it is new. Drove the car over 1000 miles in 2 days without any issues and the car performed as intended. I did not take any after market warranty as I like to work on my own cars, and most of their used cars are sold AS IS ( I would do the same if I was selling these type of cars, as some people would abuse them quickly and ask dealership to fix whatever they broke while abusing them). BUT I could never stress enough the importance of taking an after market warranty if you buy one of these European premium vehicles, at least for peace of mind. Labor is very expensive, and any small issues will set you back $500-800, medium issue will be $800-2500 and big issue $2500 and up. My past used 2016 7 series (G12) had 5 "small" issues, and 2 Medium issues before it was totaled by Helene, this would have cost me around $5000 in a little over 2 years of ownership at the BMW dealership, and they were not big issues... The place itself is really nice, my wife and kids could wait in a different area where they had drinks/coffee and snack. All other salesman were courteous, and couple of them helped us with questions we had or to find out way around when we first arrived. They had very special cars like a first generation M6 on display and other newer special one, such as an i8 and so on. My wife really liked the M4 in isles of man green with orange leather sport seat. Once more, thank you guys at Autobahn pre-owned. Keep up the good work!
