CarMax is a big ripoff. I was given a bid on a car and took it for them to look at. Absolutely nothing wrong with the 2021 Dodge Charger R/T with 3391 miles on it. Octane Red with no damage, beautiful car in perfect mechancial condition. Several of the employees test drove the car. They came to me with a fictitious made up story about the transmission having a problem. They could tell because when they would start up from a dead stop they knew then it needed service. So they low balled a bid on the car. Having worked on cars for 50 years and having had my own automotive repair shop I would know if a car had a mechanical problem. Thus car is mechanically sound with no problems. So beware of CarMax.

I recently purchased a vehicle from CarMax and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Ben was my salesman, and he was absolutely awesome! He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all my questions—and even provided answers to questions I didn’t even know I had lol. He made sure I felt comfortable with my decision and never made me feel pressured at any point. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. If you’re looking to buy a car, I highly recommend asking for Ben. He made the whole experience smooth, easy, and enjoyable. Thanks again!

Carmax was great!! My salesman Ben Rubin was amazing he worked his magic and got me into the vehicle that i wanted and didn't waste my time. So if your looking to get into a new vehicle make sure its carmax of hulen mall ft.worth tx hands down the best experience with making a big purchase thanks again for everything Ben Rubin

I have bought cars from other CarMax dealerships. I thought we could trust their word. That was not the case. We were told they would replace the scratched windows tint. When we contacted them to set it up, oh no we don't do that. I called again to speak with the GM. He wasnt available. The person I spoke with have me the run around and told me the would get it done at our cost. But as a reduced price. Spoke the the service guy to set it up. Said that wasnt the case. Finally gave up since they had no intention to honor what was promised and failed to at least communicate within their own group. My advise is make sure you read everything over as they will not honor it even if their staff says they they will. And. Do not buy a car there.

I had a very disappointing experience at CarMax. I scheduled an appointment online and drove 45 minutes to the location, expecting a smooth and professional process. Instead, when I arrived, I was dismissed at the counter and told to “check in” after already sitting there for 15 minutes. There was no acknowledgment of my scheduled appointment and no sense of urgency or respect for my time. After driving 45 minutes to get there and receiving no assistance, I ultimately had to leave and drive 45 minutes back home a total of an hour and a half wasted. Appointments should mean something. If customers take the time to schedule and show up, the least that should be provided is basic organization and courtesy. This experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Very frustrating.
