We have worked with Hertz before so we had some confidence moving through this process, however we were very disappointed with our most recent rent2buy. We had our pickup appointment moved twice because the "system books it automatically" and had scheduled us on days they were not even open. We live 3 hours away from the pickup location so we are lucky we didnt drive up without calling first. In addition to the scheduling issues, they didnt even do the bare minimum to tidy up the vehicle. I understand that it was a rental and that it would not be perfect. But, having stuff spilled in the cupholder, on driver and rear passenger door, and wrapers left in the door handles was a less than ideal surprise. At the Gresham office they confirmed that this was not up to the standard Hertz expects but we were still stuck cleaning the car ourselves. The cherry on top was that we were told that we could not drop off or purchase the vehicle at any other location. Anela and team expected us to drive the 6 hours round trip to complete the purchase or mail them the cashiers check. We ended up having to call the hertz rent2buy office and they said it would be no problem to purchase on the location just 20 minutes from our home. Ultimately just didnt feel like they had our best interest in mind at all, had we found another similar vehicle near us we would not have completed the purchase through Hertz.

Buying a car can be stressful, but Alex at Hertz made it such a great experience. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. I felt heard and never pressured, which I really appreciated. Truly a 10/10 experience—I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone looking to buy a car.

Although my initial trip here i met with Anella who seemed genuinely interested in helping find a car. There was absolutely no follow through. I made 5 phone calls and no return calls. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and no one seemed interested in helping me. I left my number several times and absolutely no one got back to me. So unfortunate as I was ready to buy a car outright.

Anela and Sergio were beyond nice and helpful during the entire car buying process. They worked with me to help me understand all of the details every step of the way. They were very polite and considerate towards my needs, and were even willing to stay an hour late to allow me time to grab additional documentation needed for my application. It is pretty evident to me that they both care a great deal about making their customers happy. I got an extremely competitive price on a 2024 Nissan Altima SV in an incredible color, and I could not be more happy with it. Thank you to the both of them!

I would like to formally acknowledge the management and staff at Hertz Car Sales in Burien for their outstanding customer service during our recent visit and vehicle purchase. As a former General Manager and Sales Manager, I am well-acquainted with what constitutes exemplary business practices, and the team demonstrated these qualities throughout our experience—from the moment we arrived on the lot, selected our vehicle, and completed the purchase process. Each phase was managed seamlessly. Our initial greeter, Chandler, facilitated a smooth handover to Tim for sales responsibilities. All questions and concerns were promptly addressed with the assistance of General Manager Kyle, and the financial procedures were efficiently and seamlessly overseen by Finance Manager, Elizabeth. All in all, I would give this team a “10” for all aspects of this transaction and sale.
