Caitie “Katie” E 3 months agoI hate to have to post something like this publicly, but I feel like it’s important that people are aware of what we experienced. My husband has been looking for an older classic pickup for a while now. He’s very particular about what he wants, and when he came across this site and the truck listed, he absolutely loved it. The price seemed right and it checked all the boxes for what he had been searching for. Since we are out of state, we started discussing flights and planning a trip to come see it in person. My husband initially called Michael to ask some questions about the vehicle. During that call, he felt like he was being pressured to put a payment down immediately. He chose not to do that at the time because he wanted to confirm that his friend could travel down with him (I wasn’t able to go since I have State coming up). Today he called again and started the conversation by saying, “I called regarding this already.” Michael responded, “Oh yes, yes. Are you still coming down?” My husband said yes, but asked if they could do a quick video call so he could hear the truck run and see it before putting down a deposit. That’s when the tone suddenly changed. Michael responded, “Oh, I have a guy coming in 30 minutes to put a payment on it.” What didn’t make sense is that this wasn’t mentioned earlier in the conversation—only after we asked for a video call. My husband replied that if that sale fell through, they would potentially lose another customer. At that point the conversation became tense. I then mentioned that their Facebook page shows the truck being posted as far back as January 9. Michael responded that they had “only had it for two weeks,” which didn’t add up. When the conversation continued, Michael said, “I’m not arguing. I’m going to hang up,” and then ended the call. After this interaction, we started digging deeper and noticed that several of the photos used appear to come from Legendary Motors, LLC in Massachusetts. Because of that, it raised serious concerns for us about whether the listing and business are legitimate. To be clear, the address being used does appear to belong to a real business. However, the photos being presented of the showroom and inventory do not match what can be seen at that location, which raises additional concerns. I’m sharing this simply as a warning for others. The website itself looks legitimate at first glance, but it’s always worth cross-referencing photos and listings before sending any money—especially for vehicles. If something seems too good to be true, it often is.
Erica Mavis 2 years agoIf your young, don’t know much about cars. I’m here to tell you keep walking!! There’s better! As soon as we got this car we walked in just hoping to look around see if they had any specials, any first time buyer programs. They forced us to buy a car made it seem like we would get a good deal by them offering the tags, license plate for a year. The salesman we dealt with made it seem like we were getting a deal but actually we got scammed. The car shut off a few days later, they rigged it, we eventually had to buy a battery, they don’t mention you have to have insurance before you leave, they don’t tell us anything besides the car has no problems which ofc most used dealerships will say that but when it was time to sign papers they didn’t read the papers to us just made us sign. They didn’t mention interest or refinancing. We’re still paying off this car, thankfully we did our own research and bettered the situation
david castillo 2 years agoBob my salesman and the finance manager Mario were very professional and helpful. This may not be a fancy or big car lot, but the the staff are as professional and courteous as any big fancy car lot. They got a great selection of cars and trucks and their prices are some of the best around. I highly recommend checking them out online or in person. Tell them the guy who bought the red f350 sent you.
Christopher Echerivel 8 years agoPurchased a 2014 Ford Edge in almost pristine condition with low miles and an amazing affordable payment. The staff and finance manager were definitely looking out for me and not just looking to move inventory off their lot. I appreciate them also taking my trade in and giving me more than I expected! By he way the trade in was also a vehicle I purchased with Discount Auto Sales and loved as well. Happy with the quality of people and vehicles available. If your looking to rebuild or just start credit go to Discount Auto Sales and be ready to be blown away with their service and hospitality!
yessenia Ramos 7 years agoMy experience was awesome from the moment of putting in the application to choosing the car, to finalizing documents. So simple hassle free and all easy to understand I had gotten denied at two other places and they worked with me and even got me a better deal. Adrian, bob and even the finance manager Mario were all so friendly.
