Paul Consroe 3 weeks agoMy in-person visit = "an express visit" was absolutely wonderful. Fast and efficient service in about 15 minutes. And I sold my car for a fabulous price. BUT NOTE- I had to submit all kinds of documentations via computer before getting that DESIGNATION OF "EXPRESS VISIT". and many times, I had to resubmit docs because my first submission were not good enough (e.g., selfies, etc. And Note- their internet office only accepts a "paper title", even though in ARIZONA that is NOT required (i.e., you can transfer a title via the internet).
Laurel Bilbo 2 months agoThey gave me an offer on line and that offer was honored at sale. Randy was amazing. He took the time to explain the process and continued to update us as time went on. I would utilize Car Max again if the need arose. Other similar companies offered me 4000 less. The whole process was smooth and without stress!
Alexis Strauss 2 months agoWas searching for 2+ months for my dream 4Runner and finally found exactly what I was looking for here after dealing with the clown show that is Precision Toyota. I knew I was going to be spending a pretty penny so I was understandably picky. I wasn’t the easiest customer ever but every step along the way of purchasing my vehicle they went above and beyond without being asked to. I had a ton of questions but I have been busy with work and so they let me text them back and forth for days. They were also super flexible with timing on every appointment I made with them (test drive, purchase, etc). Everyone I dealt with was very nice as well. As most everyone says in these reviews, they don’t haggle price but you can certainly ask them perform any repairs/maintenance before you purchase the vehicle. In my case, I purchased the vehicle, and then today I had it inspected. There are no mechanical failures as it is pretty much brand new, but there was some maintenance items that were past due. I gave them a call and expressed my frustration and concerns that these weren’t done before I purchased the vehicle. They apologized but explained that their in house inspection only looks for items that are currently malfunctioning or low, not based on mileage maintenance schedule, which is why they provide free car-fax information so that you know what you are buying. I figured that was fair enough BUT then they said they would call my auto shop to cover the whole balance to perform the needed maintenance out of courtesy and appreciation for my business. Needless to say CarMax has won my business forever! Do not see customer service like this anymore and I will definitely be back if I need to ever purchase another car. I will also be shouting their name from the rooftops for anyone to hear LOL. Amazing amazing company! Thanks CarMax Tucson!
J a month agoThese people are scam artists of the highest order and I truly hate this company this dealership specifically for their malfeasance. I had one of the worst experiences imaginable with CarMax. They sold me a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that ended up having a failing hybrid battery about 6 months after I bought it. The repair cost was at minimum 4k - 6k. Instead of helping resolve the issue or standing behind the vehicle they sold me, I was left completely on my own dealing with a major mechanical failure. Because of the repair costs, I fell behind financially, eventually lost the car, and even lost my job because I no longer had reliable transportation. Which of course culminated into me losing my apartment as well. Thankfully in the last year I’ve managed to turn my life around but am now stuck with a 13k default on my credit report. Which will probably force me to have to take on ridiculous rates if I want a car in the future. CarMax acts like they care about customers until something goes wrong. Then you realize you’re just another sale to them. Selling someone a vehicle with a failing hybrid battery and leaving them to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. I would never recommend CarMax to anyone after what happened to me, and I hope anyone reading this deviates themselves from creating any kind of sales process with these monsters.
FREEDOM RANCH 5 months agoGabrielle answered all of our questions over the phone and helped us get approved for what we were really looking for. Richard got us through our paperwork and back on the road in less than an hour. Even gave the kids coloring pages and crayons. Best car buying experience we've ever had!
