We had a very pleasant experience. Everyone we encountered was knowledgeable and professional. A great selection of cars to choose from. They specialize in cars with lower mileage. We found exactly what we were looking for. A 2009 minivan with only 89,000 miles. Our mechanic looked it over and gave it a clean bill of health. Throughout our process I saw three transactions. Each customer was satisfied and content. One was a kid and his mom buying his first car. While he was signing the papers, they hand washed his car, spiffing it up for him. He was all grins. If you’re looking for a used car I highly recommend you give Gladstone Auto Sales a try.

March of 2025 I handed these people my entire savings account. I work hard for my money. They do not care. January 2026 the car transmission gave out. It had been driving a little “off” a few weeks before it died. I kept up with oil changes but didn’t anticipate needing to get the transmission checked as I was told it’s in good condition. I took it to a reputable service center and they told me the transmission AND engine were bad when I bought it. I handed Gladstone Auto Sales my entire savings account for a lemon. The car was worth no more than $2000 though I paid several more thousand not to mention registration, fees, and warranty. The warranty they insisted I buy was a major ripoff!!! Registering the car was a nightmare because this so called “dealership” did not fill out the paperwork properly. All for a car that didn’t even last a year. Do NOT put yourself through the horror of dealing with these people. PLEASE go anywhere else. I recently bought a new car from a reputable dealership. They were so pleasant to deal with and they were transparent! After being traumatized, I was nervous and even brought in reinforcements. It’s been almost 3 months and I have zero complaints. In fact, I left them a 5 star review and told a friend about them. She’s in the process of getting her new car there too. And I am in the process of telling everyone I know in the northland to never ever ever waste their time at Gladstone Auto Sales.

I must say Thank You to Ruth and Staff; for helping me with the purchase and service of the Ford Van that I bought 11/19/2025. 1st they advertised a price reduction and they honored that price at closing. After my test drive, we notice a leak in the radiator, they knew that I was about to drive over 300 miles to go to my home in Illinois; they installed a new radiator and fluids for no extra cost. I drove that vehicle home with no problems and it handled great. I prayed that the van would be as advertised on the internet. If you are a praying person like me you know that when you put your trust in the Lord, He puts good people in your life. To me Gladstone Auto Sales and Service LLC, lives up to Proverbs 22:1. "Regular folks" with a no-pressure approach, and clearly a pattern of resourcing "survivor" cars of quality, giving you ready access to the CarFax and a shop in house where they can properly assess their own cars - I noted several getting suspension parts, motor mount replacements, etc. (things a used car dealership could get away without doing). Would recommend, prices fair. One would want to thoroughly research the car and know what you are looking for when test driving / evaluating - but if that's how you like to do car shopping, then this is a good place to look.
