Cornell at auto nation was the best salesman in the world. He had to have patience dealing with me. Seriously the whole staff was amazing all I did was laugh. Make sure yall go to autonation ask for Cornell and get you a reliable vehicle, with warranty.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I dealt with Richard Yang at AutoNation USA Houston regarding the sale of my vehicle. Initially, he offered me $18,000. After shopping around, I received a legitimate offer of $20,000 from another buyer. I informed Richard that I planned to move forward with the higher offer. At that point, Richard contacted me and stated that he had approval from management to beat any offer I received. When I asked what he was offering, he specifically told me $21,000 and even guaranteed that amount before seeing the vehicle in person. I have the text messages to support this. Based on those assurances, I declined to move forward with the other buyer and drove an hour and a half to AutoNation USA Houston expecting them to honor what was promised. When I arrived, Richard completely changed his story and said they could only offer $17,000—not only far below the $21,000 he promised, but even lower than his original $18,000 offer. Because of the promises he made, I lost the opportunity to sell my vehicle for $20,000 elsewhere. Had he been honest from the beginning, I would have accepted the other offer and avoided wasting my time and money making the trip. What made the experience even worse was his attitude. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he was rude, dismissive, and raised his voice during the conversation. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: promise a higher number to get the customer through the door, then dramatically lower the offer once they arrive. I wasted roughly three hours driving round trip, lost a legitimate $20,000 offer, and was treated disrespectfully after relying on written promises from their representative. If a dealership cannot honor the numbers they put in writing, customers deserve to know before wasting their time. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and being extremely cautious before making a trip based on promises from this dealership. One of the most dishonest and unprofessional car-selling experiences I’ve ever had.
