My credit is extremely challenged, and I opted to go the in-house route for financing, but Germaine was able to get me approved through an actual bank with good terms, and I was approved for the truck I actually wanted. This was the first time in my 28 years of life that I left the dealership with the vehicle I wanted. Extremely friendly and satisfying environment. They wouldn’t allow me to leave until I was happy. Will definitely be shopping here for all of my future vehicles.

I purchased an SUV from Texas Car Direct last year, and within a week I had to return it due to mechanical issues. I was told the vehicle was fixed, but after getting it back, it shut off on me on three separate occasions. The final incident occurred while I was driving in traffic with my 3-year-old child in the car, which was extremely dangerous. I personally had the vehicle towed back to the dealership that same morning. Shortly after, Maria had another female employee call me questioning why the vehicle was towed there, as if I had done something wrong. Her attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, and she acted as though she owned the company. After the vehicle was repaired, I had no further issues until September, when I was involved in an accident. I repeatedly contacted Texas Car Direct to ask for assistance with a replacement vehicle so I could continue getting to work. Kiara informed me that I would need to come up with an additional $4,000 deposit, despite the fact that I was still making car payments. I was told those payments could be used as a new down payment, yet there was far more concern about the insurance claim than about helping me remain mobile for work. My insurance company confirmed they were paying for the vehicle. Ultimately, I went elsewhere and purchased the same SUV with significantly fewer miles. Four months later, I received a call asking if I wanted to try to get another vehicle, which was frustrating considering no real help was offered when I actually needed it. Shortly after that, I was contacted again and told that Mid American reported not receiving a payment from me. First, I pay Texas Car Direct directly. Second, the vehicle was totaled and I still needed transportation to work, so no payment was made. Third, the person calling was unaware the vehicle had been wrecked, which shows a serious lack of internal communication. The insurance claim was already paid out at that point. I was also told that my payments were being reported to help build my credit, which turned out to be untrue. Overall, this experience was stressful, unsafe, and poorly handled. They guided me through all the available options and helped me choose a car that perfectly fit my needs and budget. The buying process was smooth, fast, and stress-free. Coming here and starting over was probably one of the best decisions I made. I was skeptical in the beginning, however they worked with me and made sure any issues I had they fixed and gave me a loaner car in the meantime. After I had my accident I got my car repaired there and they also gave me another loaner car. So blessed to have found this hidden gem. Extra thanks to Sam the owner and my favorite Ms. AC ‼️💕

TCD is the best dealership that I’ve ever been to in years. All the employees are so helpful and they try to find every way to work with you and the customer Service and sales team is very outstanding. Ask for Rahim and Sam, the owners if you need any further assistance.
