Seriously, the best experience. That was one of the easiest transactions I've ever made in my life. We got several other quotes to sell our car and Carvana's offer was tops. The girl who came to pickup our car was friendly and helpful and she handled the pickup with professionalism and kindness. Awesome experience all around. 10/10 recommend! Byebye Pathfinder... Good luck with your next family!

I bought a 2014 Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet from Carvana in mid November 2025, when the weather was extremely cold (for North Carolina, where I live). The vehicle passed its 150-point Carvana inspection with flying colors. I was told by Carvana sales representatives that the vehicle was in excellent condition with all systems on the checklist passing the inspection and in working order. Yesterday, the weather finally got warm enough in NC that I wanted to turn on the air-conditioning. Only to find out that the AC - that Carvana purportedly inspected and passed - doesn't work at all. Because I'm past the 7-day return window and 100-day limited warranty, Carvana now says there's nothing they can do for me. This wasn't the first vehicle my family bought from Carvana but it will certainly be the last. And now I'm faced with either the expense of repairing a 12-year-old vehicle or suing Carvana for the repair and legal costs. My advice - you don't need the aggravation of buying a used vehicle from an organization that won't stand by its word. If something goes wrong later on, you'll have more leverage with an in-person dealership who wants to keep you as a customer. Carvana clearly doesn't care about repeat business. They've lost my family as customers for good.

The entire could not have been easier…from the car selection, to the trade-in process, to finalizing the signatures on documents. Eric, my delivery driver, was a complete joy and absolutely professional. I would highly recommend the purchase of a car through Carvana!

⭐️ 1-Star Review: Carvana Sold Me a Dangerous Truck and Then Tried to Trap Me in It I’ve never dealt with a company as careless, deceptive, and downright irresponsible as Carvana. I purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado with around 50k miles, expecting a truck that was “Carvana Certified” and “fully inspected.” What I received was a dangerous, neglected vehicle that should have never been on the road, much less sold at a premium. First red flag: the truck arrived wearing OEM tires—yes, the original tires from 2019—that were severely dry rotted with almost no tread left. These weren’t borderline. They were unsafe. Any legitimate inspection would have flagged them instantly. Carvana refused to cover the replacement under warranty, dismissing an obvious safety hazard. Then came the pre-purchase inspection, and that’s when things went from concerning to absolutely unacceptable: • No oil on the dipstick. Zero. Bone dry. How does a vehicle go through an “inspection” and get shipped to a buyer with no oil? • Tag lights not working because the wires were completely cut. Not frayed. Not loose. Cut. • A damaged, disconnected electrical pigtail harness hanging at the rear of the vehicle. No explanation. No warning. Just shoddy, unsafe, undisclosed damage. Realizing just how bad this truck was, I immediately started the return process—within three days, well inside Carvana’s return window. Instead of handling it professionally, they made the experience even worse. Carvana repeatedly refused to return my trade-in, even though I met all their requirements and notified them within the allowed timeframe. Every conversation was a runaround, every promise contradicted, and every attempt to resolve it turned into more stonewalling. It genuinely felt like they were trying to trap me in a defective truck by holding my trade hostage. In short: Carvana sold me an unsafe vehicle, denied obvious warranty issues, and then tried to keep my trade after I followed their return policy exactly. I will never buy from Carvana again, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering them take my experience as a warning. Their “inspection” is a joke, their warranty support is nonexistent, and their return process is a nightmare. Buyer beware. This was the location that did the ‘inspection’

I recently (as in 05/03/26) purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester. The online and delivery process went well. "G" (from the Raleigh Carvana) was pleasant and knowledgeable when delivering the vehicle. I was disappointed that the car did not come with a full tank of gas, which a dealership would have done. But that is a small thing in the grand scheme of things. Being the Doubting Thomasina that I am, I had the local Subaru dealership inspect it today to make sure it was "as advertised" so I could make an informed decision about whether to "Love it or Leave it" within the seven day, full refund window. I am glad I did. I discovered that two of the tires had dry rotted, two were close to bald (225/60/17), and the front disc brakes were at 3 mm with the whole vehicle being out of alignment. The head purchaser of all used cars at the local Subaru dealership stated that they would not have bought ANY car in that state, and would NEVER have attempted to sell it in that condition. They also said it was $7000 over KBB. I checked. It IS $7000 over KBB! Update: After having the car reinspected (on 05/06/26) by Firestone Auto Care Center (which is in-network for Silver Roc, the warranty company for Carvana), it has been determined that the rotors are shot in addition to the brakes and the tires. Silver Roc will not cover the cost of replacement tires but “is working to find another car care center that will fix them.” The tires are the ORIGINAL tires (making them 8 years old) that it was sold with in 2018 (hence the dry rot) and have been patched and plugged to the point of resembling Frankenstein’s Monster. These tires wouldn’t pass a NC State Inspection unless the inspector was drunk, high, and blind. I’m not sure they would pass even under those circumstances. Jordan, the newest “Carvana Advocate” of this slow moving disaster, stated that I can either keep the car and get the rotors & brakes fixed under the warranty and eat the cost of new tires or return the car since it is still within the 7 day money back guarantee window. I’m truly trying to make this work but Carvana is doubling down on the tires “passing their inspection.” They are willing to lose a sale over replacing a set of tires. My bigger concern is that WHEN I return the car, instead of fixing the issues, they will sell it to some poor unsuspecting schmuck who gets hit with a $2000+ bill for new tires, new rotors, new brakes, and a full body alignment or worse, goes to drive it home and the tires explode. To Carvana Charlotte: A new set of tires would solve this issue. Since you “take these concerns seriously” how about YOU authorizing the new tires? It would make me, the customer, happy and show that you are actually serious about providing safe cars and making sure the customer is happy?
