I bought my first car on my own from Uptown Auto Sales... I was looking for a car and had a specific model in mind... I first went to EchoPark down the road and they were trying to sell a older, less equiped car that had been in a "minor" accident. With a 25% interest rate which is crazy, and the place seemed like a scam... I am a easy going guy and saw the car for sale. I knew the second I saw it that it was the one. Being right around the corner from my work I called and said when can I come look at it... I don't like the haggle and the price they had listed was more than a fair deal. Overall the process was very simple even when I used my own bank.

Uptown Auto Sales are the best. They were nice, focused, down to earth, and amazing to buy a car from. They handle everything and everyone with respect, appreciation and thoroughness. Their prices are solid and their cars are amazingly kept, taken care of and of good quality. I’’m still on a high from dealing with them. They work with you and for you. Got a great deal on our vehicle, and had a very positive experience with Uptown Auto Sales. When our original financing didn't come through, they recommended a couple of banks that would likely offer better rates. I definitely appreciated the honesty there. They also offered to let us put down a deposit to hold the vehicle until our new loan was worked through. Overall a very pleasant car buying experience.

We bought a used car here. It was supposed to be in good working order. We wanted to have it checked out by a mechanic but we were told someone else had a deposit on the car and if we wanted it, it was now or never. The car had an air bag code and the battery was dead. We were told that it just needed to be driven and codes would clear and the battery would charge. After we got the car to our mechanic we found that there were numorous problems with the car including fixing the air bags and putting a new battery in, roters and spark plug replacement and an oil leak. I just felt like we were played with the "other buyer" being made up and forcing us to buy quickly. They either don't know anything about the cars they are selling or they are just lying. Either way, I wouldn't recommend buying a car there.
